How to create a Soundjam Profile
On the homepage look for the Site Login Box on the right hand side. There you can choose whether to create an artist account or create a member account. Create an artist account if you make or write music or run a music project or create a member account if you want to rate tracks and videos or organise music events. Complete the registration form with your login details. You will need to decide on the artist/ member name that will appear on your profile. You will be diverted to the control panel page. This is where you can add your photographs, music, video etc. You can do this by clicking on the CREATE SONG/ VIDEO/ PHOTO/ EVENT buttons.
You will then go to an upload page where you enter details about the upload. When you have all the details added, click the ADD NEW SONG/ PHOTO/ VIDEO button. This will add it to your profile! Using the control panel to your left you can also change uploads and also the profile theme. If you click on the CUSTOMISE YOUR SITE button you can change the colours, fonts and background of your profile (but you will have to save the changes and log back into the site again to see the effects of this.) At the moment as we are a new site there are a limited number of backgrounds to choose from but we will keep working on the site and in the future we hope to expand the choice or fix it so you can upload your own backgrounds.
You can return to the main site or view your profile by clicking EXIT CONTROL PANEL on the top right hand side.
To return to your control panel from the home page, when you are logged in you can click CONTROL PANEL to alter, change or add to your profile.
You can contact other artists or members and comment or rate items; you can also network through the profiles. One of the main features of the site is that charts are created on the homepage so you can play your part in moving a track up the charts by listening to it and rating it.
You can only upload tracks that you have created yourselves and as on the other social networking sites it is up to the members to report anything that contravenes either copyright or decency, and in these cases we reserve the right to delete an offending profile without warning. If you have any problems, questions or ideas for the development of the site please feel free to contact the administrator.
We hope you find Soundjam useful and enjoy using it. Welcome to the Soundjam Community.
