Background of Soundjam in a nutshell
Soundstudio are a Youth Music Project based in Buckinghamshire.
In 2007 Soundstudio were awarded a grant by Connect Youth International to create a networking website for young musicians, particularly those supported by community and non-profit groups throughout Europe. This project was called the Dot.net project and if you look in the Soundjam Community pages you will see the photos from the collaboration between a group of young people from our music project in High Wycombe and Doktor Caligari, a very well-accomplished group of young jazz musicians from Belgium. Soundstudio is currently finishing the recording of their joint efforts and we hope to upload this on the site soon.
The aim of the project is to forge connections between groups and artists and to give a platform from which members can showcase their work.
We have since been working to put together this web-site and hope that members will find it fun to use and useful for making links and publicising events, new music and videos for their musical ventures.

Youth in Action Funding Opportunities
The Youth in Action Programme provides mobility projects and opportunities for young Europeans 13-30 years. It promotes the development of national and local initiatives involving young people with European elements in mind. These opportunities include:- Action 1 Youth in Europe: Youth Exchanges, Youth Democracy Projects, Youth Initiatives and Training opportunities (in UK and Europe)
- Action 2 European Voluntary Service; 3 weeks to 12 months fully funded volunteering placements in youth organisations across Europe and beyond
- Action 3 Youth in the World: International opportunities
- Action 4 Youth Support Systems: Study Visits, Seminars, Contact making seminars and many more
- Action 5 Support for European Cooperation: Policing making opportunities.
